Cloud 9 and TSM debut the future of LoL esports
Cloud 9 and TSM are about to debut the future of League of Legends, the Ultra Rapid Fire update. Set to go live this coming preseason, this massive update turns every match into a white knuckle thrill ride. Full patch notes are here, but here’s a hit list of the biggest changes.
- Every champion begins the game with 80% cooldown reduction on abilities, activated items and summoner spells
- Casting spells is fun, but running out of mana isn’t, so mana and energy costs have been removed
- Marksmen could stand to dole out tons more damage, so attack speed bonuses for ranged champions have been doubled
Watch TSM and Cloud 9 strive to be the first pros to claim an Ultra Rapid Fire victory after today’s regularly scheduled LCS games. If you want to take your own shot at Ultra Rapid Fire glory, spin up a game now in a special queue that’s already live!
