Game Performance
This game turned out to be a veritable playground for Voyboy, as a Katarina with early kills is a train that cannot be stopped. He synergized extremely well with the shields and crowd control of the rest of Curse, letting him be the tip of the spear in any fight.
Post-Match Coverage
This matchup between two Season 2 powerhouses was relatively even in the early going, until Curse’s composition and overwhelming crowd-control let Voyboy’s Katarina run away with the game. Elementz’ Janna was a credit to his team, shielding squishy team mates, landing clutch Howling Gales, and controlling the map with numerous wards.
After twenty minutes, Voyboy had nine kills, partly due to being able to pick of key members of TSM Snapdragon and get resets effectively. Any fan of the Sinister Blade knows what makes for a great game: crowd control allowing Kat to close the distance, shields to mitigate damage, and plenty of champions in close proximity to soak damage from Death Lotus.
In the late game, Curse’s lead increased when they had no less than seven wards in TSM’s jungle, letting them control any attempt at a comeback. A teamfight that started well for TSM turned drastically in Curse’s favor when Cop was left unfocused, allowing him to pick up a quadra kill with Kog’Maw. In the end, the huge kill deficit proved too much for TSM Snapdragon to overcome, prompting a surrender.
