Game Performance
Reginald’s Xerath stood as an outlier in what seemed like a very standard TSM composition. He forced compLexity to run from objectives by pouring on damage from a distance, and picked up a number of kills as well. Reginald finished the game 7/1/5, and was a threat from start to finish despite the unusual pick.
Post-Match Coverage
After a loss to Dignitas last week, TSM Snapdragon looked to reestablish their dominance in their match against compLexity. Two turrets fell in the early minutes of the game due to a lane swap by both teams, with First Blood not occurring until a little after 11 minutes. Despite keeping pace with TSM in the early stages of the game, compLexity couldn’t pressure key objectives like Dragon and Baron due to the devastating damage of Reginald’s Xerath.
Dyrus also played a commanding Malphite, picking up first blood for his team and saving Reginald after a costly Flash. By the end of the game Dyrus was so durable that compLexity was powerless to stop his initiations, and simply didn’t have the equivalent ability to reengage in response. Ultimately, the commanding lead TSM built through great zoning and explosive burst damage snowballed them into a final teamfight victory and their fifth win of the LCS.
